Our Doctors

George C. Dixon, MD

Medical Director

Dr. George C. Dixon, MD is an internal medicine specialist and the medical director of Advanced Physical Medicine Center since 2000. He brings to the team more than 30 years of medical experience. Dr. Dixon’s expertise covers general internal medicine, occupational and emergency procedures, as well as the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Dixon graduated from UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. David Berk, MS, DC, DACRB

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. David Berk graduated from Muhlenberg College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He continued his education at the University of Bridgeport, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition. Dr. Berk then completed a 3 year post-graduate diplomate program (DACRB) in Spinal Rehabilitation. This began a journey to practice evidence-based techniques including the McKenzie Method, Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, Cox Flexion Distraction, and the McGill Method.

Ryan Finucane, PT

Ryan graduated from Columbia University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been practicing for 20 years and some of his specialties include Vestibular Rehabilitation, McKenzie, Myofascial Release, Biondi, Mulligan, Maitland, Cyriax and Neuromobilization techniques.

Ricardo Africa, PT

Ricardo graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. He has been practicing for 23 years and some of his specialties include post-operative protocol for shoulder, hip and knee as well as early intervention and pediatric physical therapy. Ricardo is also certified in Kinesio Taping.

Eric Bresemann, PT

Eric graduated in 1996 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry with a Post Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy. He specializes in outpatient orthopedic injuries, pediatrics, McKenzie Method extension techniques and Kinesio Taping.

Nicholas Kodjak, L.Ac

Nicholas Kodjak, L.Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist with 18 years of experience. He is certified in Trigger Point acupuncture, Nogier Auriculotherapy, and Distal Point acupuncture. He has extensive experience with scalp acupuncture as well. He specializes in the treatment of pain of all kinds (i.e. myofascial, neuropathic, emotional), headaches, digestive conditions, addictions/cravings, insomnia, anxiety, stress, menstrual cramps, high blood pressure, allergies, and many more.

Ju Ho Park, L.Ac

Ju Ho Park is a licensed acupuncturist with over 12 years experience. He is certified in cupping; a certified Taekwondo instructor; specialty in electric treatments with electric massage used in control of muscular pain; and has a Masters degree in English Linguistics.
